Germany – Vestas has been selected to supply 42 megawatts of wind energy to the Wƶhrden Repowering Project in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany.
To replace the 25 existing legacy turbines, Vestas will provide, install, and maintain seven V162-6.0 MW turbines, which will increase the project site’s energy output, while also extending the life of the Vestas EnVentus platform, which is best in class.
As part of the 20-year AOM 4000 service agreement, Vestas will provide power performance certainty and Vestas’ industry-leading service expertise for the duration of the repowering project.
There will be deliveries to start in the first quarter of 2023 and commission in the second quarter of 2023 at the Wƶhrden repowering project
