Poland – Vestas has received a 56 MW order for the Banie lV project from Energix, the wind farm’s majority owner and a well-known wind project developer in Poland.
The deal covers the provision, construction and commissioning, in conjunction with the 20-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM5000) service contract, of 16 V126-3.45 MW wind turbines in operating modes of 3.5 MW.
Leading position
The venture, located in Banie, Western Pomerania, Poland, adds to the 2,5 GW of Vestas’ existing onshore wind turbines in Poland. Vestas has now secured an extra 1,2 GW of installable orders. The proposal reaffirms the leadership role of Vestas in Poland’s clean energy market and wind industry.
The project will feature a SCADA solution from VestasOnline®, which reduces downtime for the turbines and thereby optimizes energy production.
In the first quarter 2022, the turbines are scheduled to be delivered and commissioned.
