United States – Verdagy has achieved a milestone with Shell’s technical endorsement of its eDynamic electrolyzers.

By securing Shell’s endorsement, Verdagy aims to accelerate the deployment of its electrolyzers in large-scale renewable hydrogen projects, thereby contributing to the global transition towards clean energy. Additionally, Verdagy is committed to achieving the US Department of Energy’s target of $2/kg for the levelized cost of renewable hydrogen by 2026.

Verdagy’s eDynamic electrolyzers represent a breakthrough in electrolysis technology, offering dynamic and cost-competitive solutions for infrastructure-scale projects. These advanced electrolyzers boast high current densities, an extensive operating range, and rapid response capabilities, enabling seamless integration with renewable power sources. Verdagy’s electrolyzers serve as a crucial building block for large-scale renewable hydrogen installations, supporting the transition to sustainable energy systems.

Technology commercialization

The endorsement from Shell signals a significant step forward in the commercialization of Verdagy’s electrolyzer technology. By providing the lowest levelized cost of hydrogen (LCOH) and facilitating efficient coupling with renewable energy sources, Verdagy’s electrolyzers have the potential to drive widespread adoption of green hydrogen across industries. This collaboration not only enhances the competitiveness of renewable hydrogen but also contributes to reducing carbon emissions and mitigating climate change.
