United Kingdom – New hydrogen fuel cell and electrolysis test facility has been inaugurated in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, UK. The facility, a result of a partnership between Ceres and HORIBA MIRA, aims to expand the UK’s capabilities in fuel cell and hydrogen technology.
The establishment of the facility, announced in March 2022, signifies a major expansion of Ceres’ testing capabilities in the UK. It complements the company’s existing centers and forms part of a long-term agreement between Ceres and Horiba Mira, an automotive engineering and testing consultancy. The collaboration aims to enhance the UK’s ability to deliver cutting-edge fuel cell and hydrogen technology to global markets.
Scope of work
Beyond the testing facilities, the partnership involves the design, manufacturing, and certification of fuel cell testing systems by the Horiba. This allows Ceres to deploy testing solutions that comply with local regulations in international markets. The facility leverages the combined expertise of both companies, positioning Ceres as a leader in the clean energy and hydrogen sector on a global scale.
