Belgium – Grants of €300.5 million are being offered by the European Commission’s Clean Hydrogen Partnership (CHP) in an unprecedented effort to support cutting-edge hydrogen technologies.

The grants will also be available for initiatives that encourage the construction of so-called hydrogen valleys. In total, the CHP will consider 41 grant topics, including green hydrogen production, storage and distribution, transportation, heat and power, and more.

Partnership

The European Commission, Hydrogen Europe, and Hydrogen Europe Research are the three members of CHP, a public-private partnership. Hydrogen Europe is opposed to EU plans to limit the production of green hydrogen to new renewable energy projects.
