Denmark – Lhyfe will build a 24-megawatt hydrogen production facility at the new Danish industrial park GreenLab, by the end of 2022.
The company inked a master supply deal for an electrolysis plant with a capacity of up to 24 megawatts with its partners Green Hydrogen Systems and Eurowind Energy. This will allow for the daily production of about eight tonnes of renewable hydrogen. This hydrogen will be converted into green methanol, which will be used in the transportation industry.
The first phase of the plant will have a capacity of about 12 megawatts and is projected to be completed by the end of 2022.
GreenLab is a 600,000 cubic meter green industrial energy park in Skive, Denmark. It is a platform that combines energy production, industry, agriculture, pyrolysis, and Power-to-X.
