United Kingdom – ABB’s UK technical engineering consultancy, which is a subsidiary of ABB’s Energy Industries division, signs an agreement to be acquired by TÜV Rheinland.
This component will be incorporated into TÜV Rheinland’s Industrial Services & Cybersecurity division in the UK. The deal is anticipated to be finalized in Q2 2023.

Around 160 employees work for ABB’s UK technical engineering consulting, which has two main locations in the northeast and northwest of England and a network of colleagues and subcontractors. International energy customers may increase process safety, equipment and asset integrity, as well as technical design for both new and existing industrial plants, with the support of a specialized team of technical specialists.
A scalable, multi-faceted technical engineering supplier with a full-service offering for high-risk industries will be created by the merger of the two companies, assisting clients in the energy transition and energy security.
