Denmark – With the goal of creating a complete value chain for carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS), Aker Carbon Capture and Dan-Unity CO2 have signed a collaboration agreement.
Aker Carbon Capture and Dan-Unity CO2, established by two of Denmark’s leading shipping companies, Evergas and Navigator Gas, will collaborate on market analysis and insight, with the goal of identifying and maturing specific opportunities for CCS value chains in the near future.
As a collective, the companies will use their extensive knowledge of CCS to identify technical and commercial risks along the entire value chain, including capture and liquefaction technology, loading operations, offshore offloading and intermediate storage, as well as long-term subsurface storage options.
