Denmark – Norden has introduced a biofuel sailing option that is carbon-neutral.
The biofuel sailing is the first of a series of green freight products that will be available to customers this year as part of Norden’s goal of becoming carbon-free by 2050.

Biofuel has the advantage over other eco fuels in that it can be used onboard existing vessels without requiring any engine modifications. Norden intends to expand its biofuel offering as global production improves and new alternative sources for biofuels become available.
As part of its climate strategy, Norden has committed to net-zero emission shipping by 2050.
