Ukraine – DTEK Renewables has awarded Vestas a contract for the second phase of the DTEK Tiligul project, a 500-MW wind farm.
This order, which covers the remaining 372 MW of the complex’s second phase, is in addition to the 126 MW order Vestas obtained for the first phase in March 2021.
Largest order in Eastern Europe
The DTEK Tiligul project, with a capacity of 500 MW, is Vestas’ largest order in Eastern Europe and the first EnVentus project in Ukraine. Through a long-term 20-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement, Vestas will also provide service for both phases of the DTEK Tiligul project, ensuring power performance assurance and Vestas’ industry-leading service expertise throughout the project’s lifetime.
For the second phase of the project, Vestas will be supplying 62 V162-6.0 MW turbines with a hub height of 125 metres. Full park commissioning is planned for the end of the third quarter of 2022.
