Germany/Italy – The Nordex Group has received another order from Italy. The company is providing ten N131/3600 turbines for a 35 MW wind farm in the southern Italian province of Basilicata. The order also requires a two-year support plan for the turbines.
114 meter hub height
The Nordex Group will supply the N131/3600 turbines in the 3.5 MW operating mode, which will be mounted on tubular steel towers with 114-meter hub heights. The turbines will be shipped and completed in May of this year, with the wind farm expected to be finished in late autumn of 2021. Following that, Nordex-Service will service the turbines from the nearby Policoro Service Point.
The name of the project and of the customer are undisclosed as per customer’s request.
