Austria – Encavis sells a majority stake in its Austrian wind farm portfolio totaling 51 percent to Wien Energie GmbH, Austria’s largest regional utility.
Wien Energy already owns 49 percent of the three wind farms, “Pongratzer Kogel” and “Herrenstein” in Styria, and “Zagersdorf” in Burgenland, with a total generation capacity of 36.2 megawatts (MW).
Wien Energie’s acquisition of this wind farm confirms its regional focus and strengthens its portfolio of renewable energy generation, which includes wind and hydropower plants in addition to photovoltaic parks.
